In order to accept credit cards on your website you will need the E-Commerce module in your Business Builder account. 

For processing payments you will need to have a
1)  Merchant Account () or
2)  PayPal account. Your customers DO NOT need to have a PayPal account.


MERCHANT ACCOUNT
Merchant Accounts provide the ability to take credit cards at your website.   The merchant account also requires a payment gateway (Authorize.net)   THere are a vriety of possible fees depending on the credit card that your cutomer uses.  View sample fees

AUTHORIZE.NET
Authorize.net is required to process payments from your shopping cart.  
In general the fees are as follows:  $99 one time setup fee,  $17.95/mo Service charge, and  .10 per transaction. View Fees

To apply for an Authorize.net account click the "Sign Up Now" link below, create a new login account, and fill out the online aplication. Once you have logged in the first part of the online application will look like the following.  Keep in mind that you are applying for a "Card Not Present" account, and optionally the merchant account.

PAYPAL
PayPal is relatively easy to set up, but your customer is required to leave your website and make the payment at the PayPal site.  Once there, PayPal attempts to get your customer to create a PayPal account.   Please note: A PayPal account is NOT REQUIRED to process your payment.
